Holaaaaa :D
By the time I write this post, Girls' Generation (So Nyuh Shi Dae/SNSD) already finished one of their last 2013 Japanese Tour performance in Osaka. Their last stop will happened tomorrow and hopefully, these nine beautiful young ladies can still rock it :)
Beside their last 2013 Japanese Tour, on this week, Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun also busy filming the music video for their 7th Japanese Single, LOVE&GIRLS (Oh God...I thought Girls&Peace title was already horrible enough, but then, comes this), which will be released on May 29th, 2013. Meanwhile, sadly, Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun (Taetiseo/TTS) recently stepped up from their position as MBC Music Core MC. And lastly, don't forget Girls' Generation will be performing on 2013 Dream Concert!
With the finishing of their Japanese tour, music video flming, and MC position, it left me wondered about what are SM Entertainment planning to do next with them, beside 2013 Dream Concert obviously. I am sure all of Sones out there have the same questions like mine and as expected, began to wonder what they would like Soshi, another name for Girls' Generation, to do next. Well, since Soshi is my most favorite girlband, I also have a plan for them and hopefully, SM Entertainment will read this blog and grant my wish ;)
1. World Tour
With 230.000 people watched their 1st Asia Tour (dkpopnews.net), their successful attempt on holding their first fan signing in United States, and not to mention, their big fanbase all over the world, I think this is the right time for them to do a World Tour. I am sure all of us have been waiting to hear Tiffany's "(insert your country/city name) Put It Back On!" :)
Holding a World Tour would be beneficial for them if they are really serious about their attempt in expanding their activities to Global Market, or Western to be exact, because they will know if people out there are interested in their music or not based on the number of audiences who watched their concert. Beside that, World Tour can also help them to introduce their music to the world. It would be good for them too if they can do it while promoting their planned English album.
Moreover, their six years experiences in music industry can also help them to reach their mental and physical stability while performing. I mean they have been through this, what else could get worse for them.
My only wish would be please do not make the set list too similar with their 2013 Japanese Tour :( The Flower Power opening is jaw-dropping, but where the hell is fan favorite, Into The New World and Complete??? Well, SM, you better bring back these two songs for the World Tour because I still want to see this kind of fan event.
2. Sub - Units
Last year, the first Soshi sub-unit, Taetiseo, surprised everyone with their musical and vocal abilities since they go beyond their typical music with this sub-unit. While there are no news of Taetiseo comeback, people begin to speculating about Soshi next sub-unit and it seems what people expect is the sub-unit from the dance team, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona, and Sooyoung.
To be honest, I am waiting this kind of sub-unit too, but sorry, Yoona, you have to step down :(. We all know how Hyoyeon and Sooyoung not really get into their spotlight comparing to the other members (Thank God, they shine more and more these days!!) while it's been a long time for Yuri to get back on spotlight again. These three also shine the most during I Got A Boy promotion in my opinion, so while I Got A Boy is still fresh in our mind, SM should take advantages from this.
For the type of music, obviously they need a dance track that has sick beat and sleek choreography. But, please, no hip hop because it will make them look trying too hard. Yeah, maybe they can have a little rap part with Sooyoung take a lead because she is actually the best "rapper" among all Soshi members.
Beside HyoYulSoo, I also want to see YulSoo along with Sunny. Why? Because these three have underrated vocals (listen to this, this, and this). My point is that it's not I want to see them singing some ballad songs (although I actually love too), but I know these three can carry a song well. Beside that, they have similar tone of voice, so it would be nice to listen to their voice mixed perfectly. For the genre, they could go for electronic, sweet acoustic song, or the same genre like Taetiseo, that would be great. Oh and one last word, if this happened, Sunny, pretty pretty please don't sing with aegyo-cutesy voice again because I really really like your voice if you don't try to be like that :)
3. Individual Activities
2012 is full of each member individual activities from drama to variety show to sub-unit to MC. In 2013, there are no confirmed individual activities except for Sooyoung, Seohyun, and dumdumdumdum....Yoona (no surprise for her)!!! This year, Sooyoung will act in another tvN drama, Dating Agency : Cyrano. Meanwhile, Seohyun, along with Yoona, and fellow SM Town Family such as Kyuhyun, Minho, Sulli, and Siwon, recently endorsed SK Telecom LTE. Yoona also rumored to be the leading lady of KBS newest sageuk (historical) drama, Sword and Flower, which already confirmed Uhm Tae Woong as the leading man (wait...what??? I cannot imagine the age differences).
I am super anticipating Sooyoung drama like I already mentioned on my post last week while SK LTE advertisings are cute. As for Yoona's rumored drama, surprisingly, I really want to see her act on this. I admit that she still needs to improve her acting and she will get a lot of hate if she accepted this project. But, I do not know why, I have a feeling she will surprise us with her improved acting in this drama. I still have a thought that KBS will not be fooling around if they decided to choose Yoona to accompany Uhm Tae Woong in sageuk drama. This will be a big challenge for her and who knows, if she has a great chemistry with him despite their age differences.
Beside that, I want to see other members individual activities too. I want to see our leader and main vocalist, Taeyeon going solo with ballad or Tatiseo or Lee Hi type of songs although Taeyeon said that she does not have a plan on going solo in KBS Happy Together recording in 2011. And also, I want Sunny to shine more too because she is actually a full package with great voice, dance, and attitudes. Beside that, I want to see Yuri acts in a drama again eventhough she still lacking, but I want to see her improve (biased alert! hahahaha). Lastly, despite my hate for her (but, now slowly liking her hahahaha), I think Jessica would be hilarious on variety show.
And lastly,..............................
4. Rest!!!
As much I want to see them holding a world tour, having another sub-unit, and doing individual activities, nothing beats my wish to see them have some rest. They must be very tired after doing their Japanese tour and overseas activities right after their I Got A Boy promotion now. That's why it would be nice if we can see them rest a little bit or spend time with their family, friends, or......boyfriend :p Beside that, they still got about twenty nine days before the released of their new Japanese single. So, go on!!! Rest as much as you can!!! Because I am sure people do not want to see what happened to Taeyeon in this performance to other members or her again :(
